PRESTON TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the new look PTTA web site. The purpose of this Web site is to promote Table Tennis in the Preston area and to enable players access to up to the week information about their own, their fellow competitors and their teams performances.

The Preston Table Tennis Association was formed in 1928 with the aim of promoting public interest in the game of Table Tennis and good fellowship amongst its members.

The Association is affiliated to both the English and Lancashire Table Tennis Associations and currently comprises 19 clubs totalling 36 teams comprising almost 200 players. The Association is confined to clubs of PR (excluding PR7/8) postcode with players either living or working in the region.

During the last two decades, Preston Table Tennis Association had been experiencing a decline in numbers. This has now changed. Thanks to a collaboration with Preston Borough Council and lottery funding we now have a top class facility which we are using to rebuild the Association and promote table tennis in the Preston area. Of the 19 clubs playing in the Preston Table Tennis League, 15 now play at the centre (27 teams out of a total of 36).
